From Town Council:
Regarding the community meeting at the Church of the Nazarene to be held Sept 3rd, it is my understanding from the Supervisor's office that the focus of the info is for communities facing the fire currently, or in the path of the fire, hence those more to the east of Altadena.
This will not be a lessons learned. There is time for that later for Altadena and the county, and it is my understanding that will happen later. So Altadena is welcome to attend, but not sure we will hear information relevant to Altadena at this time.
Fire Capt flew over Altadena yesterday. We are scorched, we are burned, but looks like we are still standing and at least for now, fire has passed us.
