BBQs Needed for First Responder Event

There has been a huge response to the upcoming First Responder event on Oct. 1.
The Parks Department is in need of a (some) decent sized BBQs for the event. If you can help out, please call or email Wes directly. Contact info is below.

Volunteers needed to honor first responders at Oct. 1 barbecue
LA County Department of Parks and Recreation is looking for volunteers to help them hold a barbecue for firefighters and sheriff's deputies to honor them for their work on the Station Fire.The barbecue will be Thurs. Oct. 1 at Farnsworth Park, from 11 AM- 3PM. Wes Kawano, recreation services leader of the Altadena/Foothill District of county parks and rec says: "If at all possible, we would like to get as many community volunteers as possible to assist us in setting up, serving or delivering food to the event."
