Hi my name is Kathy, when I was a child the great fire of 1960 burned almost right up to our backyard on El Prieto Rd., so the pics on this site brought back memories of the fire trucks parked in front of our home at 4369. We moved out in 1965, but I go back every once in a while just to bring back that feeling of childhood and to smell the canyons' sage. Im very glad that this fire did not take the house too, its been on my mind since this fire started, Firefighters are angels.
