Thanks to County Public Works

Public Works has been doing a great job in keeping Canyon Crest open.  One could argue that the work should have been done prior to the storm.  But, if you'd like to send a note of thanks, here's the contact:

Ms. Gail Farber, Director

Los Angeles County Department of Public Works

900 South Fremont Avenue

Alhambra, CA 91803

I spent six years living and working at Chantry Flat. The 3-mile road is governed simultaneously, in sections, by US Forest Service, City of Monrovia, City of Arcadia, City of Sierra Madre and Los Angeles County. The County was by far the most responsive, efficient and empathetic to human affairs of the five entities. I don't extend the opinion to ALL County departments, but I have always been impressed with DPW.
