Mail was stolen from a mailbox Wednesday, February 14, from a home on Canyon Crest. Another resident a couple of blocks away brought it back to the owner and said he found it in his bushes. There was an opened envelope from which a 1099 tax document was stolen and a ripped open bank statement.
We had similar occurrences on El Prieto two holidays ago.
At that time, the USPS advised not to leave mail for sending in our mailboxes that included checks or personal identification.
