recently responded to a notice regarding the upcoming hearing for a proposed
child care center located at 3311 Canyon Crest Drive. This is a courtesy
notification to inform you that while the case is on the agenda for tomorrow’s
hearing (January 15, 2013), there will be no discussion of the case and no decision made tomorrow. The case will been
continued to March 5, 2013 to allow the applicant enough time to present
their project to the Altadena Town Council in February.

There is currently a site plan of the proposed project and
a memo discussing the reason for the second continuance. All other hearing
documents (staff analysis, draft findings and conditions, environmental
document) will be posted in the coming weeks leading up to the March 5th

Its important to understand that the hearing that is being dicussed in this thread is downtown at the county. There is still a local hearing on February 5, 2013 at 7pm at the Altadena Community Center.
The hearing on March 5th will be postponed again due to issues that Dep. of Parks and Rec. raised regarding a multi use trail that crosses at Loma Alta. A new hearing date will be set.
