Want to Run for Altadena Town Council?

Here's a message from the Altadena Town Council Election Committee:

Being a representative on the Altadena Town Council is a great way to serve your community!

Election Day is Saturday, June 11th at multiple locations with a pre-election polling location open on Tuesday, June 7th.

Candidate Applications for Town council are available at the Altadena Community Center; 730 East Altadena Drive, between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, or can be downloaded from AltadenaPatch http://altadena.patch.com or Altadenablog http://www.altadenablog.com

Town Council consists of two representatives from each of the eight census tracts in Altadena, with each representative serving an alternating two-year term. Meeting the 3rd Tuesday each month, the Council’s 16 members are elected as an advisory body that communicates and coordinates residents’ needs with public agencies and to Supervisor Michael Antonovich of the Fifth District, Altadena’s official representative on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
