MFSC Offering Free Oaks and Toyons

Have the "Holiday Plumps"? Need to shed some lbs after the holidays? Don't join some expensive gym you'll only go to once or twice. Work off those cookies in the clean fresh outdoors!!  And if you overindulged in something else over the holidays, we have Community Service hours too.

Yes, the Meadows Fire Safe Council is having Tree Plantings every Saturday in January @ 1 pm.  We have over 150 oak trees and some Toyon (hollywood). This is your chance to actually make a forest in Altadena! If you are interested in any or all of these events just reply to this email and I will send you details (once I have figured them out). Tell your friends (and people you meet on the street)!!

Commercial Building to be School

The unfinished commercial building at the corner of Altadena Drive and Lincoln has been sold and will be leased to a school.

The other real estate agent couldn't disclose which school will occupy the building, but he confirmed that the escrow sold and the lease has been signed.
