Poor guy has lost much of his habitat - but getting too domesticated = dead bear, and we don't want that. I am happy to go to the presentation with you.....but it is more critical to inform the people who are getting visited by the bear. I hate to say it, but I wonder if we should be trying to scare it back into the forest, away from our homes? I LOVE having a bear in the neighborhood, but it is NOT in the bear's best interest. J. He's getting bolder and bolder, and when he grows up, he could develop into a 'problem bear', and that wouldn't be good for him or for us. Would anyone be interested in attending a presentation/talk by a Fish and Game officer about how to co-exist with bears in a way that is safe for us and safe for them? I will set it up if there is interest.MaryEllenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02773548532841445693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30297179.post-83362278260623067462010-09-10T23:28:30.774-07:002010-09-10T23:28:30.774-07:00Another brown bear sighting. There was a small brown bear sitting at the end of our driveway. It wandered off heading up the hill.<br />Al KillebrewUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10034486884971013440noreply@blogger.com
